Waiting for the End of the World

LSU on Saturday, in Red Stick. Georgia between the benson-and-hedges next week. Then, a breather (no game) before ‘Bama on SWF and the much-improved Gamecocks in the Palmetto State.

We’re two-and-two. You’d think we were “OK” going into this stretch. You’d think I was even looking forward to the center cut of the season.

Not.

I’m just waiting for the end of the world.

LSU 42  Tennessee 7

What think you?

Well, I think Tennessee is going to do what they’ve done all season. I think they’ll start off well, but in the second half it’ll all go downhill.
One things for sure, Tennessee ain’t gonna get an easy game.

    LSU-35
    Tennessee-17

My thought is that this will be a low-scoring game. UT defense has not been that bad, and the LSU offense is not a juggernaut. The question is whether the Vols can put enough points on the board to win. That is something that has been proven to be difficult this season.

The Vols will be in the game on the scoreboard. And if they get some breaks in the form of turnovers on the LSU side of the field they could pull off the upset.

But, alas, it’s just not to be this season. Too young and with the ranks too thin. LSU wins a close one, 21-17.

    Left-side brain prediction: LSU 26, Tennessee 6

    Right-side brain prediction: Tennessee 20, LSU 17

G-L-O-R-I-A…….ELVIS WAS GOOD, BUT THE VOLS WONT BE. TIGERS 30-VISITORS 18. ALTHOUGH THE VOLS MAY LOOK DECENT INTIMIDATION GETS THEM THIS WEEK.

i think we’re about to enter a long, dark tunnel and it starts this week in baton rouge…

    LSU 24 UT 10

if somehow, someway the vols ‘O’ can get in the endzone a few times and the vols ‘D’ can keep the tigers and their pathetic offense from puttin’ up a ton of points then maybe, just maybe they can pull it off…

but the UAB game pretty much put the kibosh
on any thoughts of them lockin’ down the other
    team.
